Contrast:
- I made the title of the play and the logo the biggest because it is the most important
- Using different fonts and bolding specific parts also makes the words "pop out"
- Below the headings are the detailed info because it isn't as important such as what the play is based off of and the location or time of the play
Alignment
- I aligned the smaller text so it wraps around the sides because I didn't want it to be interfering with the yellow brick road
- I placed the play name and logo in the middle where the road is broken so they are essentially walking across the unknown
- Everything is straight side to side besides the road so it looks clean and organized
Repetition
- I used the same font for the less important information and a different font for the headings
- The same color was used throughout the poster because I tried to make it as close to the color of the road so it compliments the background color
- Also the major headings have a shadow behind so it's easier to read
Proximity
- I spaced the words around the road so it doesn't cross over it making it hard to read
- I grouped the all of the information about the play together so that the information about what it is based off of and inspired by
- They words are all evenly spaced off of the sides so it is not jagged
