AB Sequence

Pre Production-
When first introduced to this project we had to create a storyboard. Our first idea turned out to not be successful because we would have to go outside and walk around the whole school. So instead using the event's entrance we were able to go through one pair of door without going outside. Cain was the villain and his power was to teleport around the school as shown in the video. We all contributed to the storyline and had feedback on each others ideas.

Production-
For this video we used the mini iPads and a tripod to film. However, the day we were suppose to film our school had an oil leak and evacuated the school. And the next day we had a sub so no equipment was checked out. When we did get the chance to film, we started our video near the students service's hallway and walked our way down to the events entrance near the gym. The tripod was a little tricky to set up and was broken so we had to film handheld so apologies if it is a little shaky. We had to use an obstacle in our video so instead of having a object our group decided to use a human. It gives the video more suspense and creepiness because you don't know what is going to happen next. You have to communicate with the other groups because if they end up in one of your shots then you have to redo it.

Post Production-
After filming all of our shots, we transferred the videos from the iPad to the computers. We used Adobe Premiere Pro again for editing. Mostly adding points to our clips where we want them to start and end so we can input them into the entire feed. Our goal was to keep the video around 30 seconds but you could go a little over if needed. We also got our music from a loyalty free site approved by the school, inserted it, and trimmed it to play throughout. Adding an exponential fade to the video is another we can do but I felt that since the punch at the end happens so rapidly it would ruin the sudden effect of the video. Overall this was a really fun project and had an awesome group to help me out with it. I hope groups like mine keep up good collaboration, time management, and being hard working so it makes the working environment more welcoming.
